About Me...
I was born and raised in San Diego. I attended UC Santa Barbara where I received my B.A. in Sociology and my B.F.A. in Dance. While completing my Masters and Credential at USD, I student-taught at San Diego International High School in an 11th and 12th grade IB Literature class with the 2018 California Teacher of the Year, Jaime Brown.

I have always been drawn to creative outlets. Since childhood I have been dancing my way through life, finding solace in my ability to express myself physically, and work collaboratively and creatively daily. I am so fortunate to share my passion with my students!

My passion for dance took me to
New York City where I danced professionally for four years. I was driven to spread my love for dance by performing and teaching classes in underserved neighborhoods. My studies in college and experiences in NYC revived my passion for teaching and inspired me to come back to California to pursue my teaching career. |
I am thankful for every step in my journey that has led me to a career for which I feel such passion, commitment, and pride.
